Meeting Thursday August 19th.

The summer sun did not deter a good attendance in July – as always Show and Tell was inspiring. Check out the website if you missed it, there are photos this month.

Loddon Quilters’ Show - 7th April 2011.

Make a note of the date.  Many thanks for all your offers of help – you have given us the go ahead!  We will have our first committee meeting in September when we hope everyone will have returned from holiday – it will soon be April!

This month Jackie is going to help Valerie with her overlocker, so an opportunity to find out about overlockers.

We would like to see how everyone is getting on with their blocks

– have you joined yours together yet?

- what have you made yours into?

- or are you waiting for inspiration?

We shall need help in September to put out and away the tables and chairs in the hall – Jan, the caretaker, will be on holiday. We are so fortunate that she usually sees to all the tables and chairs for us. We hope she has a well deserved holiday and that you will not mind helping out for this one month.

This is our last meeting of our third year – how time flies when you are having fun! Next month we shall be collecting subscriptions. Although the cost of the hall is rising from this month we can hold our membership subscription at £16 as we have enough members, we think this is good value and hope you agree.
