Meeting Thursday 20th. December

****Loddon Quilters' second Show – Thursday 18th.April 2013****

4 meetings to go.................

We had such a good attendance at our last meeting, so much exciting work and so many friends!

It's Our Christmas celebration …........

As usual we will have our Christmas party gift of Christmas door

hangings, please wrap your hanging and put it in the box when you

arrive.

There will also be a box for cards – just one from each member.

Cards and party gifts will be given out later in the afternoon. This year –

by special request – party gifts will be opened at the meeting so that we

can all see what an amazing selection of ideas members have.

The raffle – everyone will be given a raffle ticket during the meeting.

Any contributions for the raffle will be welcome and can be put on the

raffle table when you arrive. We will draw the raffle in the afternoon and

there will be as many winners as there are raffle prizes.

Finally – and perhaps most importantly – a small plate of Christmas food would be much

appreciated for our Christmas tea in the afternoon.

Don't worry if you can't bring/forget any of the above, its you we want to see at our Christmas

meeting, so be sure to come along

Raffle quilt blocks

How our town grew during the last meeting, so many blocks and everyone different. Dusty and

Joyce are collecting them and will be planning the next step. Thank you to everyone who has

made a block, if you hadn't finished yours bring it along to this meeting.

What a jolly collection of clowns have been made and so lovely to be able to leave them up after

Christmas.

Dates for your diaries

Next month we will be sending out registration forms for the Show in April so please start

thinking about what you are going to enter. We would like everyone to enter something, there is

so much lovely work being done in the group, this is our chance to celebrate.

Quilters Exhibition and Fabrics January Sale

Exhibitions by Farnham Quilters, Heather Quilters, Village Green Quilters

Farnham Maltings, Bridge Square, Farnham GU9 7QR

Admission - £5 before 1pm, £2.50 after 1pm.
