Meeting Thursday 18th. December

Can you believe it is nearly Christmas ... .... again! 

We had another good meeting in November with record attendance. The Garden quilts are coming on 

amazingly, not only ‘Garden’ quilts but other theme quilts as well. We love to see all your ideas, large or small, 

bring them along to Show and Tell.

Thanks to everyone who made a baby quilt, you did Loddon Quilters proud with a magnificent array of quilts, 

check with Fay for exact numbers.

December is our Christmas celebration.......

To get us in the party mood we would like to have a 'Christmas' show and tell – anything you have made 

with a Christmas theme. We know there are lots of good ideas out there so please share them with us and make 

this a bumper Show and Tell.

As usual we will have our secret Santa party gift of hearts (in whatever form you fancy), please wrap 

your secret Santa and put it in Santa’s bag when you arrive. 

The raffle – everyone will be given a raffle ticket during the meeting. Any contributions for the raffle will be 

welcome and can be put on the raffle table when you arrive. We will draw the raffle in the afternoon and there 

will be as many winners as there are raffle prizes.

Finally – and perhaps most importantly – a small plate of Christmas food would be much appreciated.

Lunch will be at 12.30, so no one need bring a separate lunch, we are sure there will be plenty left for those 

who come later – the tables are usually groaning!

There will be no charge for tea and coffee this month. We shall have some ‘activities’ for you to join in with – if 

you want to – and space and sockets will be limited by the food tables, so we suggest you don’t bring machines.

We want you to be there so don't worry if you cannot contribute any of the above – be sure to 

bring yourself – we may be able to help you out, especially if you let us know.

All the members of the committee wish you a very happy Christmas and a bright New (Show) Year

We look forward to seeing you all again in 2015.

Next month we will be sending out registration forms for the Show in May so please start 

thinking about what you are going to enter. We would like everyone to enter something, there is 

so much lovely work being done in the group, this is our chance to celebrate.
