We continue our Row Quilt challenge, we have seen some amazing rows. This month the technique will
be appliqué .There will be demonstrations if these are new techniques for you – or you need a reminder.
Our committee theme is Out and About and this month is fields and rivers. Remember that you can adapt
what we suggest to suit what you want to do and follow your own theme, it is a very flexible challenge.
Blocks can be 8” or 4”, or you can work on a strip.
You can Google applique and find lots of ideas and help online.
We have Bondaweb for sale at the meeting – see Joan or a member of the committee.
It was good to see some finished rows – not just the latest ones.
If you have done some rows do bring them in and pin them up on the stands when you arrive.
We shall be having a visit from the trader Purple Stitches this month. Some of you may
have visited her shop in Chineham. We look forward to seeing her fabrics and will no doubt be tempted.
Remember to bring your purse!
